Abbotsford Convent

A few weeks ago, Tom and I spent a sunny afternoon checking out Abbotsford Convent, which as the name would suggest is a an old convent. It is now used as an artsy-type precint, with resident artists, restaurants, cafes, and even a Steiner school on site.

I was interested in it to practise taking photographs in a more rustic location (I'm usually in parks, or neat back gardens, pristine nurseries etc), and I asked Tom to be my subject for the day. Despite how much you think he might have hated this, he is still more cooperative than most two year olds!
